Being involved politically for years has introduced me to the ugly side of politics and politicians, the not so truthful side, the “SPIN” as you hear it called. But “the spin” has also filtered into the media over the years and not just the Main Stream Media, but the smaller markets and the local news as well.
Remember when you could read the local news wherever you lived and believe what you read, at least believe the facts had been pursued as much as possible. Yes, most of us grew up with a local “gossip” paper, and they are good reads, but you understand and take them at face value. But what about current news outlets, print, digital, or both, that you believe or know to be partial and biased towards one side, one party, and one view point. Don’t you get tired of that, I do. Especially when there is no alternative that offers the other side, the other viewpoint. But maybe, being involved has taught me too much, know too many of the players, and know the game. And again, seeing that other side from the inside.
So this is why Since Truth Matters. I want to provide the other side of the story that they left out, or spun in a way that appears or maybe is even partially true, but again it’s spun. That’s what I want to bring to the table. When they leave it out, I point it out.
When SinceTruthMatters.com started back in 2023, there was a local election going on in Irmo. I wanted to concentrate on that election, I did. My goal behind this website is more than local elections, more than elections. But elections locally and nationally have consequences here, so I will continue to cover elections, the candidates, as well as the things that I believe will help you to become a better informed individual in order to show you what the consequences are and were of those elections.

Many people, publications, and other sites do an excellent job of putting the truth out there. You will see their articles posted on this site as well. I have included below the links to some of the best places to get great information that do speak the Truth. And as I get permission from others to share their articles, I will add them as well, in order to provide sources that will bring you insight, knowledge, and wisdom which leads to truth.
